Too cute

My favorite nephew Liam (age 2.5)

My favorite niece Lucy (age 1) and bearer (or is it wearer???) to all of Isabella's clothes!

Back Home

After our 10 day mini-vacation, we are back home in State College. I still haven't unpacked our bags but I have gotten the camera :( ready to be shipped to Panasonic to be repaired, sorted and paid bills, and opened all the mail. I also paid Elisabeth to dust upstairs and downstairs and clean the bathrooms. She decided 5 days ago that she wanted to 'raise' money for the "ELISABETH WANTS A PRODUCT RED IPOD FUND". I told her it would take a few months to raise the 200.00 dollars but little money-bags already has 140.00!!!! I guess the 10.00 I paid for dusting, the 5.00 I paid for the bathrooms, and the 5.00 I paid for the car cleaning helped out a little. And to think I would have done it all for free!!! I just broke it to her that she also has to pay tax-I don't think that will slow her down, though.

Isabella has recovered from all of her birthday celebrations. Tomorrow she has one more with some friends in town-we are doing a joint party with Lola (who turns 1) and Bella. Everyone is coming to the pool around 4. It should be fun!! Isabella also has her 2 year old check-up tomorrow. Unlike her sister, she has no clue what is coming (AKA SHOTS!)!!!

Mucho Birthday Presents AND Horrible Camera News

If you are wondering why, and you had better be, my pictures are not as crystal clear as usual it is because I dropped my beautiful new camera on the pool deck (with the lens open) and it bent the zoom lens when it fell :(  Hopefully, it can be fixed.  I am lost with out it.  I tried using my mom's camera while I was away but the battery died so we had to resort to my mom's iPhone camera.

Happy Birthday, My Sweet Baby Girl

Sadie taking part in the birthday cake eating :)

No need for a fork!!

Birthday breakfast:  potato chips

Cowgirl Isabella at the Lonestar

Isabella Rebekah Yen Nhi is 2 years old today.  Where has the time gone???  Wasn't it just yesterday that we craddled her in our arms?? And now she fights to get out of them and go slug something or someone!!  We were in Canada visiting Sadie and her parents ( my cousins ).  She had turkey, cheese, and potato chips for breakfast, fajitas from Lonestar for lunch, and hotdogs/beans/salt potatoes for dinner.  She also had a beautiful white cake with berries at lunch time from J, J, and Sadie (and the waitresses sang to her) and a key lime pie at dinner.  By the end of the day, she was saying "Happy Birthday Day, Bella" over and over.

Off to Canada

Isabella, Sadie, and Elisabeth eating breakfast.

Helping Nanny give the dogs (aka my furry brothers) a ride.

Sadie and Elisabeth

Isabella 'helping' Jaqueline water the flowers.

We arrived at Jaqueline and Jim's house.  As you can tell, the flowers are unbelievable!  This woman knows her foliage!  It takes an hour every night just to water them all.  I would be praying for rain real hard everyday.  I thought watering hanging baskets once a week was tedious! No wonder my flowers are dead.

What we have been up to....

Riding Nanny's favorite new toy... John Deere :)

The most awesome playground near Nanny's house...Elisabeth calls it "Castle Park".

When a girl's gotta go, a girl's gotta go. Thank goodness she had a dress to cover it up!!

Lots of fun, as you can see :)

Pad Thai!

Birthday in Syracuse

My birthday cake-fruit tart from Wegmans. YUM!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!! 39 years :) I feel about 24 besides the fact that I have gained about 50 pounds since then!!! I ate my 'weigh' through the day-Italian toast for breakfast, pizza for lunch (I won't mention the fries with gravy...SHHHHHHHH), and Pad Thai for dinner. It was a super nice day-thanks go Mom and Dad!

Elisabeth's Last Day of Elementary School

Nanny and Isabella waiting for us to leave for school.

Elisabeth with one of my favorite students-when she is misbehaving, I tell her that Elisabeth would be very sad and it actually works!!

Having lunch outside at school.

We were laughing because Elisabeth walked up to us, crying, and Isabella smacked her on the head!

Elisabeth's last day wasn't as sad as we thought it would be....I was SO sick of being at school with nothing to do (the super organized me had everything done a week before) and Elisabeth was just plain sick (she has a cold). By the time 12:15 pm came around, we were ready to get the hell out of dodge :)

Isabella's first experience at driving.

She liked pushing the gas pedal and looking backwards at the same time.

Elisabeth and Megan-they have been best friends since they were 3 :)

Tanner, Bonnie (Isabella's babysitter), and Isabella on her last day at Bonnie's house before summer break.

My most prized MATERIAL possession....the drawing is from Jacqueline and Jim (from Vietnam) and the frame is my birthday present.

Father's Day morning-breakfast in bed :)

Todd in his Father's Day gift-a new rain suit for golf and soccer.

Todd and Elisabeth at Perkins....Isabella would not get in the picture.

Todd and his girls .

Isabella dressed up at Sunday School.
