Isabella's Best Friend

Isabella's best friend at school is Ellie. They are either loving on each other or hating each other. Sometimes the teachers have to put them on separate floors so they won't get into it. I got brave and invited Ellie over to the house for a play date (I hate the phrase, but what else do you call it??). Every room they went in looked like a cyclone had it. Apparently Ellie had never been to someone else's house to play. She was a little enthralled by everything new. When Elisabeth came home, we bundled them up in their princess clothes and took them to see "The Princess and the Frog". They were very good through it until this evil man appeared and then both of them started crying and shaking. Even Elisabeth was rattled. The movie should have been rated PG. The movie was cute, regardless of all the black magic. And the girls had a wonderful time being together. I now have to go and clean up their messes:)

Early Christmas Present

Todd's parents got the girls a great Christmas present this year and because it arrived early and in a VERY big box, they couldn't wait to open it:) We hung it in the basement until it is nicer outside. If Bella doesn't throw up from all the spinning, I will be shocked. The kid gets off the swing and doesn't even act dizzy. I get dizzy just watching them swing!

Snow days=Happy days

Once again, the deciders of when we close school made me a happy woman. They made a super stupid decision, as it stopped snowing at 8 am and then the sun came out, but I was still more than thrilled to stay home. We went to the mall and then spent the afternoon making cookies. It was awesome.

It's snowing......

and we are all praying for a snow day tomorrow!!! I LOVE nights like this-watching it snow with my fake fire flaming. The only thing I would change is to NOT watch the Duggar's. Elisabeth loves it when they are on and they drive me up a frickin' wall. What is it with all that procreating??? And the dresses!!! Have you seen their swimsuits?????? The girls wear full on scuba suits with DRESSES over them....DRESSES TO SWIM IN!!! I bet they wear chasity belts under all of that material too! Thank God...they are over and I can watch the rest of my soaps:)

I Heart Faces – Sweet Dreams

There is a photo contest going on, as it does every month, at i heart faces. I submitted this picture of the girls sleeping in our bed one Saturday morning.

Christmas.....

is coming and I can't frickin' wait. ALL my siblings will be home and I am beyond excited. We haven't all been together for a few years. Blake and Alison are coming from MD. Shane, Jen, Liam, and Lucy are coming from CO. Rebekah is flying to CO from Alaska to drive with them to NY. Aaron opted NOT to travel by road so he is coming from CO as well. I wish it would just get here already. These last 2 weeks are going to be TORTURE!!!

Thanksgiving 2009.....

Our $20.00 haircut. It was worth it because this girl actually got Bella's bangs straight BUT $20.00 for a 3 year olds haircut???!!!!! COME ON!!
The blessed, wonderful headphones that came with the van:) YEAH!!

Oh, to be 3!
Mom's Christmas tree...pretty, huh??!!!
Mom is knitting a very intricate blanket with elephants on it for Isabella. She thought if she sat next to her and 'helped' it would be done faster.
Check out Bella's face. She has caught site of Santa about 1000 feet away from her.
Here she is begging to get off of Todd's shoulders so she can hide in her stroller.
"OH MY GOD!!! I think he is going to jump off the stage, slide across the ice rink, and fight his way through hundreds of people to get me!"
Yes...that is how far away the man in the red suit was.
The Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
Sadie and Jacqueline came for a visit:)
Mom and the girls at Fresnos.

Sharing (although not very well) an ice cream sundae.

was GREAT:) Lots of shopping and fun and food and shopping and more food. We had a wonderful time with my mom, who made us a delicious pizza dinner on Thursday. She also made me my very own fruit salad, which I consumed in 2 days. 5 cans of fruit, heavy cream, and cream cheese. Yum.
