Day 2 in Vietnam

Rebekah and Bruce are still searching for a vegetarian restaurant....every time Rebekah asks for 'no meat' they think she is saying 'no spice'. Poor baby is probably eating more 'hidden' meat/poultry than she has in a life time. I bet she has even sampled....oh no....COW!! Although we haven't spoken directly, we have emailed back and forth a few times a day. She went to the water puppet show and was trying out a new restaurant last night. Tomorrow morning (our time), they will leave for Lang Son to meet up with the birth parents.

From her emails, my 'completely opposite' sister is handling Vietnam MUCH better than I did. I remember I wanted to stay inside until I went to the orphanage. Todd actually had to drag me outside on the 2nd day so I could see what was going on. Granted, by day 30, I was off shopping by myself-it took me that long to get acclimated. Rebekah was out looking around on day 1, staying at a hotel smack dab in the middle of a very busy street, and eating at a street cafe. Did we come from the same mother??? I think one of us was switched!!!

PLEASE REMEMBER.....this is now a PRIVATE blog....I would really appreciate NO ONE sharing the information here with other adoption-affiliated people. If you don't understand what I am trying to say, email me:)
